Paula Man

paulaPerformance Fitness was started over three years ago by Paula Man, a wife and mother of four small children. Paula has been in the fitness industry for over 13 years and has gained a reputation for her passionate approach to fitness. She received her diploma in Fitness & Health Promotion from Fanshawe College, is a CPTN certified personal trainer, Sport Movement Specialist, a BOSU balance trainer and ViPR certified trainer. Paula has worked as a personal trainer for over 13 years at various clubs including the Richmond Hill Country Club. She was the Personal Training Director at Glenway Country Club and has privately trained clients in their homes for many years.

Paula also specializes in Sport Specific training and has been hired by the Newmarket Soccer Club to design training programs for their rep soccer players. She also works with OVA volleyball teams, hockey players and figure skaters.

Paula loves to motivate, challenge and encourage her clients to accomplish goals they never thought possible. Her passion for fitness has motivated her to run 6 marathons, multiple half-marathons and many other races. Paula's latest accomplishment was to compete in the Disney's Goofy Challenge in January 2010 where she ran a 1/2 marathon on the Saturday and then a full marathon the next day. She challenges herself as much as she challenges her clients and the goals she has accomplished have been amazing.

Kirstin Harmes

kirstinKirstin Harmes has been in the fitness industry for over 12 years. She has her Bachelor of Applied Science in Nutrition from the University of Guelph and is a Can-fit Pro Certified Personal Trainer. Kirstin has worked in many Sports Clubs of Canada fitness locations downtown and worked as a Personal Trainer at Glenway Country Club.

Kirstin is passionate about fitness and making it realistic for you to fit into your busy lifestyle. She provides ongoing motivation and support to her clients. She is dedicated to helping you achieve your specific fitness goals as your goal becomes her goal. Kirstin will influence you toward the right lifestyle changes that will bring your fitness and health to the next level… and make sure you have fun while getting there!
